Maia Sichitiu

Growing up in an environment with limited screen time but unlimited books, I fell in love with words first. Some of my favorites include: mellow, smitten, and languid. My second love became the screen when I realized the elements I adored most in her stories were suddenly tangible. Those elements include: magical realism, dramatic monologues, a smidge of romance.

Outside of the page and screen, in real life I love to try to replicate the way my mom cooks, go on short walks with friends for long talks about life, and play open world video games.
