I am inspired by the power of story. Words on a page or dialogue in a scene can make audiences root for the most insufferable characters or check the sky for species that don’t even exist. From the inversion of class in TRIANGLE OF SADNESS  to the prescience of Parable of the Sower, I am inspired by stories that make us reflect on narratives that we accept as normal and inevitable. When I’m not reading or watching something, I am usually blasting music, thrifting, or hanging out with my friends.
