Growing up with little opportunity to travel outside of Nashville, I craved stories that taught me about the world outside it. Whether from books, television, or my grandmother’s mouth, I grew a deep admiration for a storyteller’s power to illuminate. I am always in awe of stories that feel intimately specific, structurally disruptive, and conversationally elevated no matter the medium — even a twitter thread! When I’m not trying to convince everyone I know to check out a story, you can find me traveling to the south, listening to hip hop, or shopping.
