I’m inspired by world building, whether it’s on the scale of something like INTERSTELLAR, SPACE ODYSSEY or STAR WARS, or something smaller like BEFORE SUNRISE, STAND BY ME, or FLEISCHMAN IS IN TROUBLE.

I love it when everything feels like it fits together, and all the pieces of a story are perfectly in their place. I find inspiration in books that can’t get adapted, perfecting recipes for Chocolate Chip Cookies, cooking everything in Samin Nosrat’s cook books, and playing pickup basketball.
